FAQ

Q: How do I install Atlasloot Enhanced?

A: Simply extract the 'Atlasloot' folder from the zip file and place it in your 'World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns' folder.

Q: How do I view the loot?

A: Open up Atlas and click on the name of any boss that has the little Atlas symbol next to it. To hide the loot table, just click the boss name again.

Q: What does this (no iteminfo) stuff mean?

A: Starting in patch 1.10, Blizzard made it impossible to seek information on items that have not yet been seen. Atlasloot queries your local cache of all the items you have seen, and if it cannot be found the (no iteminfo) warning appears.

Tooltip information for (no iteminfo) items can only be viewed if you have Lootlink or ItemSync installed and the item is in that mod's database

Q: Some of the stuff on the loot table looks really cool, how do I link it to my friends?

A: To send an item link in a chat window, just open up a chat edit box and shift click the item. Items that have the (no iteminfo) tag can only be linked if the 'Enable all Chat Links' option is selected in the options screen. Warning: Linking (no iteminfo) items in the chat window may result in disconnection from the server.

Q: You mention the options screen. How do I open that?

A: Simply type /atlasloot.

Q: How can I see what an item will look like on my character?

A: Ctrl-click on an item to see it in the 'Dressing Room'. Items with the (no iteminfo) tag cannot be ctrl-clicked.

Q: My guild uses a fixed price DKP system and I am sick of alt-tabbing to see what an item is worth. Is there any way Atlasloot can help?

A: In the Atlasloot folder you will find a file called 'dkp.lua' that can be edited (using any old text editor) to suit any fixed price DKP system. The file format looks like this:

--Item Name
Itemxxxxx = "#";
Where Item Name is the name of the item in question, xxxxx is the item ID (found in Allakhazam or in the localization.en.lua file of Atlasloot) and # is the DKP value of the item. The '--' in front of the item name is very important. There are some examples in 'dkp.lua' already to get you started.

Once the data have been entered, the DKP value will appear in red at the bottom of the tooltip when the item is moused over on the loot screen.
